Best conditions:

Calm sea (no wind, no chop)
Protected bays (Boka/Kotor Bay is usually calmer than open coast)
Away from traffic lanes (no busy marinas/ferry routes)
Clear visibility + good lighting (yacht lights + swim light)

When it’s a “NO” (we won’t do it)

Strong wind, current, or swell (especially outside the Bay)
Near shipping routes / marina entrances
If anyone is tired, cold, or had too much alcohol
If there’s no safe swim ladder/platform setup
